Meditation is a time to pull away from the busy-ness of your day, to take time for yourself, to be in a peaceful place, just for you. It doesn’t have to be for hours at a time, it could be for 5 – 10 minutes. It’s not the quantity, it’s the quality.

Breathing techniques like this are a simple but very effective way of meditating…no requirements on you to visualise or work on anything other than your breath.
You can do this anywhere or at anytime that suits you where you’ll be undisturbed for the amount of time you need. You can do this indoors or outdoors, it’s entirely up to you.
This type of breathing is a great way to calm feelings of anxiety, fear, stress and it signals to your body that you’re providing the oxygen it needs to function well.
